Our founder, Kotaro Nishina, spent years perfecting his craft as a sushi chef. In 2015, he decided to use his knowledge and expertise to open King Poke. Here, we combine the traditional Hawaiian dish poke with Kotaro’s Japanese roots, and we do things a little differently than most places. All of our sauces and toppings are house-made, including our hotsauce, our chili oil, and the fried onions and garlic that top our bowls.
