It all started in 1989. Josefina and Martin Magana being recent newlyweds had a dreamed of one day establishing a little business to share their Mexican family recipes to the world. From prior years of immigrating to America and working constantly in restaurants they felt that it was the moment to make something of their own. After working so much to create a better future for them and their family they decided to open a little Mexican café in San Pedro where they enriched the community with the flavors of their hometown Sahuayo Michoacan. In 1993, they moved their little business to a larger location that is now known as Pinas Authentic Mexican restaurant. It is located in 1430 West 25th St San Pedro, California. They have been happily serving the community for 31 YEARS. Their goal has always been to share their love of food and bring a little bit of their culture to costumer's. Martin and Josefina continue to provide their business with all their love and passion.
